About the Role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant (TA) to join an amazing Primary School'svibrant team. In addition to supporting classroom activities, you will also be responsible for providing basic French tutoring to Year 4 and Year 5 students.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in delivering engaging lessons and supporting classroom management
  • Provide one-on-one or small group French language tutoring to Year 4 and 5 pupils
  • Support the class teacher in daily activities and lesson preparation
  • Assist with the pastoral care of students, ensuring a safe and positive learning environment
  • Collaborate with other staff to enhance the learning experience of students

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant is desirable
  • Basic knowledge of French language to tutor Year 4 and 5 students
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for working with children and supporting their learning journey
