Electrical Estimator

Damicor are actively recruiting for an Electrical Estimator to be based closeto Heathrow Airport.

You will play a crucial role in the effective management of the estimating department ensuring projects are tendered successfully, delivered on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with Contracts Managers and the Procurement Team to ensure efficient tendering and project delivery.
• Undertake Tender Enquiry activities, considering both commercial and technical aspects while adhering to our non-collusive policy.
• Assess and record project risks via the risk register.
• Provide technical guidance, advice, and bid support, including tender programmes and methodologies.
• Conduct site visits when necessary to understand tender requirements.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with industry networks and clients.

Qualifications:

• Applicants should come from an electrical background, ideally as a Qualified Electrician or holding an Electrical Engineering Degree.
• Skills, Competencies, and Other Qualities:
• Proficient in the use of AutoCAD and Revit.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers to secure competitive prices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High level of competency in MS Office packages.
• Excellent verbal, written, and numerical skills.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a demanding environment.
• Exceptional negotiation and decision-making skills.
