Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

About the Role: Our client, a leading manufacturer of valves for the oil, gas, and aerospace industries, is seeking an experienced Assembly Technician to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in assembly and manufacturing environments to apply their skills in a hands-on role. You will be responsible for assembling and fitting complex components, ensuring all parts are correctly fitted in line with customer specifications and final product requirements. A sound understanding of engineering drawings, build sheets, and work instructions is essential for this position.
Key Duties:
- Assembly and fitting of complex components for various industries.
- Use of general hand tools for precise fitting.
- Work from parts lists, measuring, and verifying specifications.
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions and perform necessary repairs.
- Follow engineering drawings, build sheets, and work instructions accurately.
- Maintain computer literacy for data entry and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM
- Friday: Overtime (Time and a Half)
