We are working with an alternative provisions school in Hillingdon that seeks a Careers Advisor to join their team as soon as possible on a permanent basis. 

The roleAs a careers advisor,  you will offer ongoing support, motivation, and encouragement throughout the job search process, help mentees to stay positive and resilient.

Key duties: 

  • Providing advice on career options, helping mentees identify their strengths, interests, and values to align them with potential career paths.
  • Assisting mentees in developing essential employability skills such as communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and adaptability.
  • Guiding them on effective job search strategies, including the use of job boards, social media, and direct outreach
  • Encouraging self-reflection and personal growth, helping mentees set achievable career goals and develop a long-term career plan.
