Plus, you’ll enjoy a 4.5-day working week, giving you Friday afternoons to yourself!About the RoleAs a Workshop Maintenance Operative, you’ll be a key player in ensuring the smooth running of this high-tech facility. You’ll work closely with the CNC team to maintain cleanliness, safety, and efficiency.Your duties will include:
  • Daily Cleaning: Sweeping, mopping, and keeping the machine shop spotless.
  • Swarf Management: Safely emptying swarf bins and disposing of materials following company procedures.
  • Coolant and Oil Spill Clean-Up: Managing spills and ensuring proper disposal.
  • Machine Cleaning: Cleaning the exterior and interior of machines to keep them running at peak performance.
  • Recycling: Sorting and recycling materials responsibly.
  • Hazardous Material Disposal: Handling and cleaning potentially corrosive acids and chemicals (full PPE provided).

  • Bonus Skills: Forklift or Robur Pallet Truck experience is a plus!
