�? Clients & Day-to-Day Work
No two days are the same here. The manager will be exposed to a wide array of clients, including:

Owner-managed businesses and household-name corporates

Listed entities on the NEX and AIM markets

Complex group structures reporting under UK GAAP, FRS 102, and IFRS
The role includes full responsibility for the audit cycle, risk management at the engagement level, and maintaining strong client relationships built on trust and value — not just compliance.
Beyond audit season, responsibilities will include overseeing accounts preparation, contributing to advisory work, mentoring junior team members, and supporting business development initiatives.
?? Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will likely be:

ACA/ACCA/CA qualified with robust external audit experience

Skilled in leading teams and building long-term client rapport

Confident in UK GAAP and FRS 102, with working knowledge of IFRS

Comfortable mentoring juniors and guiding performance

Commercially minded and confident in networking and proposal situations
