Choralis Consulting have instructions to recruit a Finance directorThe company:- Has been established over 5 years and is already one of the leading businesses in their sector. Supported by a global brand, currently they have over a 1000 locations across the UK.The role:- Is the No1 role in finance and part of the senior leadership team. Working closely with the CEO, your responsibilities will include the preparation and presentation of the monthly and quarterly accounts pack, year end, balance sheet reconciliations, evaluating and managing risk, ensuring compliance with regulations whilst overseeing the day to day accounting operations. Monitoring expenditure, forecasting revenue and ensure timely and accurate month-end closing and financial reporting is achieved. Provide commercial/strategic support and analysis of the numbers to senior leadership team* Treasury and cash flow management* Prepare annual budget and other forecasts as requiredThe person:- Qualified, graduate ACA/CIMA/ACCA with strong presentation and reporting skills. A commercial results-driven individual comfortable getting involved with the financial operations of the business from the 'bottom up'. This is a 'hands on' role for a finance director to business partner with the CEO and influence the decision making process and improve the company's financial performance. You will recommend and implement best accounting practices and direct the accounting operations of the business. Strong analytical skills, an exceptional problem-solver, resilient, confident and out going. Advanced Excel skills useful - hybrid working optional
