Finance Manager - Uxbridge - ÂŁ55,000 - ÂŁ60000 p.a OFFICE BASED

Some Accountants like 'maintenance’ type, finance roles. Others like large corporate environments where a finance team surrounds them. This is certainly NOT one of those 'typical’ roles.

Working closely with an engaging, credible, experienced and highly driven Head Of Finance and a phenomenal MD, this is a key role in a busy, high-growth smaller division of an established group.

Operating within the Home Building/Construction sector, the 'foundations’ of this organisation (with a huge heart), are already in place.

Experiencing substantial growth, they are now seeking a commercially astute finance professional who has strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with a variety of stakeholders as well as having a 'can-do’ mentality.

Given that you will be dedicated to this specific business, you also need to strike that well-known balance within any SME of being hands-on and adopting a pragmatic approach to the transactional requirements.

The Role

You will be managing the day-to-day finance function and your role will be include the review and production of monthly management accounts and VAT returns, producing and reviewing statutory financial statements and supporting the Management Team in preparing the annual budget

You will also be a key contributor towards the annual audit, working closely with the external auditor to ensure a smooth and timely.

To succeed in this position, you will need to have:

  • Proven analytical and modelling skills, commercially astute and confident communicator.
  • Strong I.T. Skills, especially within Excel and an understanding of the challenges of a high-growth businesses.
  • A keen eye for detail and accuracy, ensuring financial data is summarised in a logical way and targeted to the relevant audience.
  • A positive and collaborative approach

A Finalist, Qualified or QBE with relevant experience ,will find the role in depth and interesting.
