Head of Finance | Public Sector | Remote Working

Castlefield Recruitment are partnering with a London based Council, who are looking for a Head of Finance to join their team on an interim basis.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing robust financial reports and leading the management accounting function
• Supporting capital projects in order to develop financial plans 
• Leading on the delivery of the closure of accounts and production of statutory accounts
• Responsibility for the delivery of relevant and timely advice and guidance to Members, the Senior Management Team, Directors, Heads of Service and Budget Holders
• Development and leadership of Finance team

The successful candidate;

• CCAB/CIMA qualified Finance professional with significant post qualification experience and evidence of continuing personal development
• Significant experience of managing relevant teams/areas with demonstrable success
• Proven in depth knowledge of Local Government Finance is essential
