Job Title: Patient Safety Specialist

Location: Uxbridge – 3 days on site

Contract: 18 months

Rate: upto £40 per hour (DOE)

Currently working with a Global Pharmaceutical company who are looking for an experienced Patient Safety Specialist to support patient safety operations, ensuring compliance with global and local regulations for vigilance of marketed and investigational products (drugs, supplements, medical devices).

Key Responsibilities:

·      Manage collection, documentation, and reporting of adverse events from various sources (clinical trials, literature, spontaneous reports).

·      Ensure timely data entry and compliance with internal procedures.

·      Submit safety reports to local health authorities and stakeholders.

·      Maintain local safety databases and reconcile with other departments.

·      Develop and update local procedures, ensuring compliance with global and national standards.

·      Deliver training on adverse event reporting to staff and contractors.

·      Support audits, inspections, and corrective actions.

·      Onboard and mentor new Patient Safety associates.

Requirements:

·      Degree in Life Sciences or equivalent experience.

·      2+ years’ experience as a Patient Safety Specialist, with oversight responsibilities preferred.

·      Strong knowledge of pharmacovigilance regulations and medical terminology.

·      Excellent communication, project management, and computer skills.
