Are you an experienced Scheduler or Service Coordinator looking for your next challenge? We have an exciting opportunity with a global business in the local area. Based in Uxbridge, our client is seeking a motivated and organised Scheduler to join their dynamic team. This role is integral to the seamless coordination of service engineers and the efficient planning of maintenance and installations.

About the Role:As a Scheduler, you will be the linchpin between the service desk, engineers, and customers, ensuring that all scheduled tasks are executed efficiently and within set timelines. This role requires someone who can prioritise effectively, communicate clearly, and deliver a high level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and allocate service requests from the Service Desk, ensuring timely dispatch to Service Engineers.
  • Coordinate the scheduling of routine maintenance, installations, and inspections.
  • Collaborate with Technical Specialists to monitor the progress of service calls and provide updates as needed.
  • Generate service quotes and manage follow-up with customers to ensure clarity on schedules and delays.
  • Maintain regular communication with Engineers to track their progress and assist with any issues.
  • Regularly review and adjust the scheduling plan to meet the needs of the day.
  • Utilize technology to optimise scheduling efficiency and ensure the best use of resources.
  • Proactively engage with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery across the business.
  • Maintain a customer-focused approach, providing timely updates and ensuring the highest level of service.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience in scheduling or dispatching.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritiae effectively.
  • Self-motivated and proactive with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
  • A customer-first mindset, with the ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and external clients.
  • Familiarity with SAP and Access is advantageous but not essential.
