We are currently seeking a dedicated and organized School Administrator to join our administrative team and ensure the smooth running of daily operations.
Role Overview:The School Administrator will play a key role in supporting the administration and operation of the school. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including managing office operations, supporting staff, assisting with student-related matters, and ensuring compliance with school policies. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills and a passion for education to make a difference in a vibrant school community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily office operations, ensuring the smooth functioning of the school’s administrative systems.
- Assist with student enrollment, records management, and maintaining accurate student databases.
- Provide administrative support to senior leadership, teaching staff, and other school departments.
- Handle inquiries from parents, students, and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner.
- Manage school calendars, schedule meetings, events, and appointments, and coordinate logistics for school activities.
- Ensure that school policies, procedures, and regulations are followed.
- Support the preparation and processing of reports, documentation, and other necessary administrative paperwork.
- Maintain office supplies and equipment and ensure the school’s facilities are well-maintained and ready for use.
- Coordinate communications between staff, parents, and external organizations.
- Support in the preparation and management of budgets and financial records, including handling invoices and payments.
- Assist with managing health and safety protocols, ensuring that school safety standards are met.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within a school or educational environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in office software and administrative tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, school management software).
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- A positive, friendly, and professional demeanor with the ability to interact well with staff, students, and parents.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with student management systems or school administration software.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations within an educational environment.
- First Aid certification or willingness to obtain one.
- Ability to speak additional languages is a plus.
