Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? Our co-educational Alternative Provision in the London Borough of Hillingdon is dedicated to providing exceptional education for students aged 5 to 16 who face challenges in mainstream school settings.

This PRU has an intake of 120 pupils, ranging from ages 5 to 16. The new facilities in the school include dedicated primary provision spaces, state-of-the-art science labs, and top-notch sports facilities.

Staff are committed to helping students reintegrate into mainstream schools or prepare for the world of work, further education, or training. We pride ourselves on fostering a supportive and inclusive environment where every student can thrive.

About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled SENCo to join this alternative provision team. As a strong advocate for our students and their families, you will:

  • Develop positive relationships with students, families, staff, and external partners
  • Ensure appropriate placements and provisions are in place
  • Promote inclusion, attainment, and achievement across the school

You will model best practices, celebrate success, and challenge expectations through effective contribution and coaching. Qualified Teacher Status and experience working with pupils with SEN in mainstream or special settings are required.
