Technical Field Trainer

Brief Description of Role:
- Prepare and maintain a technical training induction program for new employees.
- Work closely with Senior Engineers and Service Managers to understand and support the training requirements of their teams.
- Collaborate with the Technical team to ensure consistent high standards in training across the team.
- Stay technically familiar with new and existing equipment, including the latest modifications, to support training requests and offer advice to field engineers.
- Liaise with service partners and provide relevant training to ensure a high level of service.
- Seek ongoing efficiencies and improvements in all training programs.
- Deliver high-quality training, update training records, and inform your line manager of any concerns regarding progress.
- Continuously assess training needs and evaluate training programs.
Requirements:
- Proven technical training experience.
- Working knowledge of planning and delivering training programs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Naturally calm communicator with a strong desire to learn and share knowledge.
- Must be within an hour's commute from Uxbridge.
- Full driving license.
Additional Tasks/Special Tasks:
- Develop and maintain bespoke training programs to meet all technical training requirements.
- Travel to and from meetings.
- Ad-hoc overnight stays for meetings and training sessions.
- Overtime payments for 1 in 12 weekend technical phone support to engineers and customers.
