Key Requirements of a Year 5 Teacher:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have completed a PGCE or Bachelor of Education
Be an Early Careers Teacher (ECT) or an experienced teacher with a passion for KS2 education
Have strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and inspire pupils
Be confident in managing behaviour effectively and using creative teaching strategies
Work well independently and as part of a team
Have a good understanding of the KS2 curriculum and be committed to ongoing professional development
