Job Title: Logistics Operative - Packing Department (Aerospace) (Must have warehousing experience)

Job Overview:
Working in the Packing Department, you will be preparing, packing and labelling products and components for transport internally and to new and existing Suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Primary and final packing of parts, components and products in accordance with technical requirements.
- Validating batch numbers, part descriptions and amount against the SAP system and flagging discrepancies.
- Ensure all goods are packed with the appropriate materials according to the instructions, and that labels and addresses are attached and clearly visible / legible.
- Ensuring the delivery instructions are correct and identify the package to be shipped.
- Liaising with the Logistics team and Shipping Clerk to ensure that goods are ready for dispatch.
- Quality checking of work done.
- Picking, packing, receive and dispatch.
- Receipting all materials.
Requirements and Skills (ESSENTIAL):
- Basic stores and packing (manufacturing or warehouse environment).
- Basic H&S policies and procedures.
- MS office proficiency.
- Basic education holding English and Mathematics GCSE’s.
- Full driving license.
- Forklift license.
