Job Overview:

Working in the Packing Department, you will be preparing, packing and labelling products and components for transport internally and to new and existing Suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Primary and final packing of parts, components and products in accordance with technical requirements.
  • Validating batch numbers, part descriptions and amount against the SAP system and flagging discrepancies.
  • Ensure all goods are packed with the appropriate materials according to the instructions, and that labels and addresses are attached and clearly visible / legible.
  • Ensuring the delivery instructions are correct and identify the package to be shipped.
  • Liaising with the Logistics team and Shipping Clerk to ensure that goods are ready for dispatch.
  • Quality checking of work done.
  • Picking, packing, receive and dispatch.
  • Receipting all materials.

Requirements and Skills (ESSENTIAL):

  • Basic stores and packing (manufacturing or warehouse environment).
  • Basic H&S policies and procedures.
  • MS office proficiency.
  • Basic education holding English and Mathematics GCSE’s.
  • Full driving license.
  • Forklift license.
