The Role:
Are you a positive and adaptable SEND teaching assistant looking for flexible work in SEND schools across Hillingdon? As a Supply TA with Academics, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of schools across Hillingdon, enriching young minds and contributing to their educational journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional support to SEND children both 1:1 and in groups
- Adapting to various school environments and teaching methods.
- Engaging with students to foster a positive learning atmosphere.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
- Help pupils develop their social and emotional skills, promoting their overall well-being
To apply for this SEND Teaching assistant role you will require:
- Previous experience working with pupils with special educational needs is preferred.
- A genuine passion for making a positive impact on the lives of pupils with SEND.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, empathy, and flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of pupils.
- Relevant qualifications or training in special education or SEND support would be advantageous.
