The role - Teaching Assistant - Hillingdon
- Making sure that the classroom is prepared for lessons in advance
- Planning and preparing lessons with the assistance of the teacher
- Assisting children across the curriculum in a variety of ways
- Providing extra support to children with special needs
- Keeping track of a student's progress and reporting it to the teacher on a regular basis
- Assisting the class teacher in providing materials for students with SEN needs in addition to the regular curriculum
- Keeping students motivated and encouraging is key to their success
- Providing supervision to students during school trips or activities is an essential part of the job
- Provide support in small groups and/or interventions for children who are at a lower level of ability
