Senior Systems Engineer - Group Lead

Based in Uxbridge (Hybrid working)

What you'll be doing:
As a Senior Systems Engineer Group Lead, you'll lead the Embedded Systems team, managing the development, verification, and ongoing support of complex electro/software-mechanical subsystems. You'll drive projects to successful completion, ensuring they meet customer requirements while managing risks and resources. You'll also mentor and develop a team of engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide functional leadership and guidance to the Embedded Systems team
  • Prioritize engineering activities to ensure timely and quality project delivery
  • Collaborate with Programme Management to identify and manage risks
  • Develop team capabilities through coaching and professional development
  • Drive continuous improvement in processes and products

  • Experienced leader, capable of managing and motivating a team
  • Strong communicator with a methodical problem-solving approach
  • Knowledgeable in Systems and/or Electronics engineering principles

Qualifications:
