Our client, a leading manufacturer in it's field seeks an Import Logistics Coordinator for their site in Denham, Uxbridge.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

Import Operations:

  • Coordinate Imports, Sourcing, Repairs and Return Material Authorization.
  • Collaborate with all necessary stakeholders, including carriers, freight forwarders and customs brokers to optimize the importation process.

Customs Compliance:

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of customs regulations and trade compliance requirements.
  • Control the IPR process from RMA to Bill of Discharge.
  • Prepare and submit accurate customs clearance instructions and other relevant paperwork.
  • Work closely with import brokers to resolve any issues and ensure compliance with import regulations.

Documentation and Record keeping:

  • Organize and maintain comprehensive shipment records, ensuring documentation is complete and accessible for auditing purposes.
  • Verify and review shipping documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with customs requirements.

Communication and Collaboration :

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless flow of information.
  • Communicate proactively with external partners to resolve issues and optimize the supply chain process.

REQUIREMENTS :

  • Seasoned experience in the international transportation or logistics industry and IPR (Inward Processing Relief) process knowledge.
  • Experience of using Microsoft Office products.
  • Experience of using SAP or equivalent enterprise systems experience would be beneficial (can be trained).
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Motivated | organized | practical.
  • Team Player.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and without constant supervision.

This is a full-time site based at our client site in Denham offering;

  • Salary up to £40,000
  • Half day on Fridays
