Litigation Administration Assistant

A great opportunity has arisen for a junior professional to join a claims management company, working as a litigation administration assistant.

This company provides credit hire and intervention services to 'non-fault' motorists, aiming to provide the highest level of service possible to their customers throughout their claims journey.

Main responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the team's diaries and chasing clients/Third Party Insurers/panel solicitors for updates where appropriate
  • Being a point of contact for panel solicitors for ad hoc enquiries i.e. sending over any missing documents or desired inter-party correspondence.
  • Control and update the Litigation team central diary of claims listed for trial.
  • Assisting the litigation team with any ad hoc tasks.
  • Making outbound calls/sending emails to the client's personal injury solicitors to obtain correct contact information and updates on the progress of the clients claim.
  • Assisting the Finance Team on an ad hoc basis with allocation of payments into the litigation team and liaising with accounts where necessary.
  • Assisting the Litigation Team on an ad hoc basis with any introduction/on boarding calls to clients.
  • Control and update the list of non-coop clients received from panel solicitors. Assist the team with re on boarding clients when required.

Essential skills:

  • Customer service experience
  • Strong verbal and written skills
  • Excellent organisational skills, time management skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to work under pressure with competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Computer literate with a working knowledge of Word/Excel/Outlook
  • The ability to build effective relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Have a positive, 'can do' attitude

Desirable Skills:

  • Previous experience within a legal environment is a bonus but not essential
