The Role:

The litigation team admin assistant will be responsible for supporting our litigation team with processing the large volume of claims we pass out for litigation each month.

This is a hybrid role with 3 days per week in one of our offices in either Uxbridge or Norwich and 2 days per week working remotely.

Main responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the team’s diaries and chasing clients/TPIs/ panel sols for updates where appropriate
  • Being a point of contact for panel sols for ad hoc enquiries i.e. sending over any missing docs or desired inter party correspondence. 
  • Control and update the Lit team central diary of claims listed for trial.
  • Assisting the lit team with any ad hoc tasks. 
  • Making outbound calls/sending emails to the client’s personal injury solicitors to obtain correct contact information and updates on the progress of the clients claim.
  • Assisting the Finance Team on an ad hoc basis with allocation of payments into the lit team and liaising with accounts where necessary. 
  • Liaising with panel sols to deal with any disbursement/payment queries.
  • Assisting the Lit Team with any introduction/on boarding calls to clients.
  • Control and update the list of non coop clients received from panel sols.  Assist the team with re onboarding clients when required. 

Essential skills:

  • Customer service experience
  • Strong verbal and written skills
  • Excellent organisational skills, time management skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to work under pressure with competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Computer literate with a working knowledge of Word/Excel/Outlook
  • The ability to build effective relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Have a positive, ‘can do’ attitude

Desirable Skills:

  • Previous experience within a legal environment preferred but not essential
