Post Room Assistant

Location: CCEP Uxbridge - UB8 area
Pay Rate: 13.04 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:30

Role Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and organised Post Room Assistant to support the efficient operation of our facilities at CCEP Uxbridge. The successful candidate will perform a variety of tasks including post room operations, administrative duties, and loading bay management while maintaining a tidy and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Post Room Operations:
    • Sort and process incoming and outgoing parcels within specified time frames.
    • Assist with delivering items to recipients or designated areas (e.g., Post Room).
    • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and associated documents.
  • Loading Bay Duties:
    • Manage deliveries and ensure completion of all related paperwork.
    • Keep loading bay and office areas tidy and organised.
    • Report any waste issues on-site to the line manager.
    • Operate waste area compactor and perform cardboard baling as required.
  • Administrative Tasks:
    • Handle general office and admin duties, including responding to emails, making telephone calls, and data input.
    • Liaise with contractors or suppliers as directed.
    • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Respond to queries promptly, keeping accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Team Support:
    • Provide support to team members and cover duties as required.

Qualifications & Experience Required:

  • Educational Requirements:
    • GCSE/GCE qualifications in Maths and English.
  • Desirable Qualifications:
    • IOSH or other Health and Safety certifications are advantageous.
  • Work Experience:
    • Proven experience working within a facilities environment.
    • Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Personal Attributes:
    • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to prioritise tasks effectively and work independently or as part of a team.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset.
