The company have been established for over 27 years and are currently going through a period of significant growth and, as a result of this, are looking to recruit a Fleet Administrator to join our growing team.
Based in Uxbridge, VVS employees enjoy a hybrid working model with a nice mix of days in the office interacting with colleagues and days avoiding the commute and working from home.
The company runs a fleet of circa 1,000 vehicles, likely to be increasing to 2,000 over the next 6-9 months, which it distributes through its 7 delivery and collection hubs across the country.
The Ideal Candidate
Will have strong administration and organisational skills as well as solid experience of working with a fleet of vehicles. Confident negotiators welcome, as you may be required to dispute unfair costs with lease companies or repairing garages.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities are varied, all centring around the safety and maintenance of the fleet, liaising with our 7 depots, lease companies and repairing garages. You will also have the chance to demonstrate your customer service skills through arranging and processing of customer payments.
- Keep up to date with vehicle maintenance checks, with a focus on ensuring any work is carried out promptly and at a fair cost to the business
- Co-ordinate the delivery and defleet of hire vehicles, negotiating end of contract charges as required
- Process payments on Worldpay, arranging payment plans or more formal debt recovery if necessary
- Analyse damage to hire vehicles and determine whether to waive costs or charge back to the client, reviewing regularly to reduce aging debt
