Regional Bodyshop Manager

Location: Covering London and South Coast 

Basic Salary: up to £65,000 DOE

Extras: Bonus Scheme £80,000

Hours: 45 hours per week Monday - Friday

Our client is looking for an experienced, reliable, hardworking Regional Operations Manager to join this leading team. You will help shape and deliver success within our business as we embark upon our ambitious growth plans. The role will oversee a number of sites, ensuring their efficient and profitable operation as well as the delivery of work in a consistent manner in keeping with our internal standards. The role is key to ensuring the support for Production Managers in maintaining consistent and strong performance across sites, whilst driving best practice and excellence.

Duties of a Regional Operations Manager/Bodyshop Manager/Area Manager:

  • To manage the profitability of all sites within your region
  • Maintain an overview of site performance, ensuring accurate forecasting and efficient production 
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for continuous improvement, to processes, methods and new technology - supported by action plans to transition and implement whilst managing change 
  • Manage the allocated budget, ensuring all costs and expenditure is accounted for 
  • Regularly collation of management information to support decision making, including production levels, parts, paint and staffing levels 
  • Lead, manage and inspire a team of Production Managers to support them with the day to day running of their sites

Experience and Requirements you would need to be successful:

  • Confident, with the ability to build rapport and nurture relationships.
  • Full training and support will be given to the successful applicant.
  • Experience of managing and leading teams, with a good understanding of how to get the best out of their team
  • A motivated and improvement mind-set with an eye to drive and deliver change across your sites
  • Great technical skills with experience of body and paint repair in the accident repair/retail motor industry
  • Prior experience working in a KPI / goal driven environment
  • Great influencing skills and confident working with and presenting to stakeholders across all levels
  • Ability to demonstrate good business acumen and financial control
  • Experience of improving process and methods, driving efficiency and maximising productivity
  • Highly organised with the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Good MS office skills with the ability to present information in various ways
  • Strong problem solving skills, with an analytical approach
