We are an outstanding secondary school in the West London borough of Hounslow, and we would like to appoint a permanent Music Teacher from September. We are keen to appoint either an experienced Music Teacher or Music ECT.
Our ideal Music Teacher can either be a Music ECT hoping to secure their first Music Teacher role or an experienced Music Teacher that is looking for a brand-new challenge. Either way, as long as you hold British QTS, and you are a passionate, enthusiastic Music Teacher – we would love to receive your application.
You will be joining our very successful Music department. As well as teaching Music from KS3 to KS5 groups within the curriculum. The selected Music Teacher/Music ECT will contribute to the extra-curricula music programme.

Music Teacher/ Music ECT – Person Specification
•   Music Teacher/ Music ECT
•   Holds British QTS
•   Can teach Music to KS3, KS4 and KS5 pupils
•   A degree in Music – 1st class or 2:1
•   A’ level in Music A – C grade
•   Happy to get involved with extra-curricular programme of the Music department
•   Has a proven track record of delivering good or outstanding lessons
•   Is meeting the Teaching Standards
•   Can deliver consistently engaging, creative and thoughtful music lessons
•   Music Teacher role open to Music ECT and experience Music Teachers alike
