The ideal candidate will be proficient in using industry-standard software such as Logic, Ableton, and ProTools. This role involves not only practical music production but also the delivery of coursework, requiring excellent teaching and classroom management skills.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:- Deliver engaging and informative lectures on music production and theory.
- Guide students through the use of music production software including Logic, Ableton, and ProTools.
- Assess and evaluate student work, providing constructive feedback.
- Develop and manage coursework materials and ensure all sessions contribute to the overall learning objectives.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment, applying effective crowd control and teaching strategies.
- Collaborate with faculty members to enhance the curriculum and student learning experience.
- Stay current with developments in music production, pedagogy, and educational technology.
- Strong background in music production and music theory.
- Proficiency in music production software such as Logic, Ableton, and ProTools.
- Proven teaching experience with strong classroom management skills.
- Ability to design and deliver coursework that meets learning objectives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A degree in Music, Music Production, or a related field is highly desirable.
