About the Role:

As a Music Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing the creative potential of our students. You’ll design and deliver a dynamic, inclusive music curriculum that meets the diverse needs of our learners, helping them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engaging Curriculum Design: Develop and deliver imaginative music lessons that cater to a range of abilities and learning styles.

  • Inclusive Teaching: Adapt lesson plans to meet the unique needs of students with Autism, SEMH, and complex needs, ensuring all students can participate and enjoy music.

  • Positive Classroom Management: Foster a safe, supportive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages creativity and self-expression.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, teaching assistants, and support staff to provide a cohesive and personalised learning experience.

  • Student Assessment: Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback, celebrating achievements and addressing challenges.

  • Extracurricular Activities: Lead music-related events, such as school concerts, choirs, or clubs, to inspire students and build their confidence.

  • Professional Development: Stay informed about the latest teaching strategies, particularly for students with special needs, and apply innovative approaches in your lessons.
