Part time SEN Tutor
Location: Harefield, Hillingdon
Overview:
New Dawn Education is seeking a Part time SEN Tutor to work 3 hours per day for 5 days a week, starting after Easter. The role is based in Harefield, Hillingdon for an alternative provision who offer bespoke education for children outside of a mainsteam school environment. The post offers flexible hours to provide 1:1 SEN support for students with diverse needs, mainly ASD and ADHD. The environment is inclusive and supportive, catering to varying SEN requirements.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working with SEN students, particularly ASD and global delay
- Ability to provide tailored 1:1 support
- Strong communication skills
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Relevant experience in SEN education, this could be as a TA, HLTA, Teacher or Care worker
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide 1:1 support to SEN students, focusing on individual needs
2. Create and implement tailored educational plans
3. Monitor progress and adjust strategies as needed
4. Collaborate with teachers and parents to ensure holistic support
5. Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievements
