Tradewind is working with a specialist SEND school in Uxbridge that is seeking a Qualified Teacher to join their growing team.
The RoleThis position is based at the school's Secondary Site, teaching Key Stage 3 pupils (ages 11-13). Applications are welcome from teachers with QTS status, whether their experience is in Primary or Secondary Teaching.
You will:
- Deliver engaging and tailored lessons to meet pupils' individual needs.
- Work collaboratively with support staff to create a positive learning environment.
- Support pupils with complex additional needs, including those who display challenging behaviour.
- Provide feedback to SLT, parents, and carers.
- Experience in SEN teaching or working with pupils with complex additional needs.
- Ability to plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons.
The school provides specialist education for pupils aged 3.5 to 19 across two sites, with the Secondary School supporting 125 pupils. It offers smaller class sizes and personalised learning pathways.
