Band 8a Senior Pharmacist Team Leader - Women and Children

Location: UxbridgeContract: Full-Time (37.5 hours per week), part-time also considered

About the Role:

As a Senior Pharmacist Team Leader, you’ll manage pharmacy services for the Women and Children’s division, ensuring safe, effective, and timely medication supply. You’ll provide leadership, guide cost-effective prescribing practices, and collaborate with senior pharmacy and clinical teams to optimize patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the pharmacy service for the Women and Children’s division.
  • Ensure compliance with medication legislation and policies.
  • Develop clinical guidelines, protocols, and support medicines management.
  • Act as a primary contact for clinical pharmacy matters in Women and Children services.

Requirements:

  • MPharm or equivalent qualification, GPhC registered.
  • Minimum 4 years of post-registration experience in UK pharmacy practice, with hospital experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership, management, and clinical skills.
