We are seeking a dedicated Year 5 Primary Teacher to join our team from January 2025. This full-time role is initially set from January to July 2025, with the possibility of extension. Ideal for educators passionate about fostering a positive and engaging learning environment for Year 5 students.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences.
  • Develop schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives.
  • Assess and record students’ progress and provide grades and feedback.
  • Maintain discipline in accordance with the school’s procedures and disciplinary systems.
  • Communicate necessary information regularly to students, colleagues, and parents regarding student progress and student needs.
  • Participate in department, school, and parent meetings.
  • Organize and participate in social and educational activities such as outings, social activities, and sporting events.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching in a primary school setting, specifically with Year 5 or similar age groups.
  • Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and the ability to create engaging lessons that motivate learning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
