This role will involve extensive UK and worldwide travel, in the hunt for best machining and surface treatments suppliers.Supplier Quality Engineer Duties:
  • Perform system and product audits of suppliers and co-ordinate the completion of non-conformance issues
  • Maintain an up-to-date list of approved suppliers
  • Perform initial assessments of potential new suppliers
  • Maintain Zero-Defect improvement programmes
  • Participate in interal quality investigations
Supplier Quality Engineer Profile:
  • Proven experience and knowledge of AS9100 and CAA Part 21
  • Knowledge of AS9120 First Article Process
  • Audit experience within an Aerospace, Defence or Automotive business
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office applications
  • UK Driving license required
