Our Client, a rapidly growing SME within the Mechanical Services industry recruiting for a SeniorMechanical Projects/Contracts Manager

The head office is based in West London and with contracts & projects across London and the surrounding Home Counties.

This role reports into the Director

As the Senior PorjectManager, you will be responible for the current Project Managers & Contracts Managers. You will also berequired to overseemulitpleinstallation projects with values in excess of 200K. The majority of the contracts are retrofit & refurb projects within Local Authority and Central Government. Exposure & experience with these types of contracts is essential.

The candidate will need to be able to communicate effectively with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Proactive management of Health & Safety
Planning, managing, executing and controlling projects
Sole responsibility for budget, programme, quality, supplier and subcontractor management
Participate in bid/tender processes
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with clients
Full man management responsibilities

Requirements

Educated to HNC/HND/Degree level in Mechanical discipline.
Demonstrate experience working as a Contracts Manager, Project Manager, Senior Project Manager or currently working as a Project Manager from within the building services industry is essential. Working within Local Authority Contracts would be an advantage.
Relevant Health and Safety qualifications such as a SMSTS/ISOH/NEBOSH
Experience of delivering projects as the Mechanical Contractor
Excellent working knowledge of all MS office applications
To have successful experience in dealing directly with Clients and the public
To work on his/her own initiative

Senior Mechanical Project Manager
