Are you passionate about supporting young people in overcoming behavioural challenges? This Behaviour Mentor position could be perfect for you.

 

We are looking for an enthusiastic Behaviour Mentor to join our Secondary school in Hillingdon, working with Key Stage 3 students to help them thrive both academically and personally.

 

In this full-time Behaviour Mentor role, you’ll be at the heart of our school’s efforts to ensure every student is supported in managing their behaviour and reaching their full potential.

 

The Behaviour Mentor will focus on developing strategies to address behavioural barriers to learning, while promoting positive relationships and a culture of respect.

 

The Behaviour Mentor will work alongside Teachers and the pastoral team to implement tailored support plans, offering one-to-one mentoring and group sessions. Your proactive approach will help students build self-regulation skills, improve classroom engagement, and ensure they feel valued and understood.

 

This Behaviour Mentor role is ideal for you if:

  • You have a background in Psychology (or similar field) and are eager to apply your knowledge in a school setting
  • You’re motivated by the challenge of supporting young people through behavioural and emotional difficulties
  • You’re a natural communicator, able to build strong, trusting relationships with students, staff, and parents
  • You have experience in a school or support role, particularly working with Key Stage 3 students, although we welcome new Graduates with the right mindset
