Job Description:

Envision Education is currently looking to appoint a Reception Administrator for an SEND school in Uxbridge to undertake placements from as soon as possible. The ideal Receptionist would be available Monday to Friday 7:45-4pm and have experience as a Receptionist within a school setting with knowledge of SIMS/ Arbour.

The role:

  • Be able to confidently answer phone queries and direct inquiries
  • Schedule appointments of visitors whilst maintaining security of the school by monitoring access
  • Accurately maintain attendance records of staff and pupils
  • Assist in the day-to-day operations of the reception area
  • Adhere to a wide range of policies, procedures and standards in a customer focused service department
  • Receiving visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately

Requirements:

  • Available to work Monday to Friday 7:45 to 16:00 -full-time
  • As school receptionist you are required to have experience within a school setting
  • Have SIMS / Arbour experience
  • Be willing to commit to the role long term
  • Have a valid child only enhanced DBS or willing to apply for one
  • Live within a commutable distance
  • Have excellent verbal communication skills
