Role: Maths Teacher

As the successful Maths Teacher, your responsibilities will be:
- To understand the academic abilities of all students and adapt lesson plans accordingly at Key Stage 3 and GCSE. A-Level teaching experience is desirable, but not essential.
- To ensure students’ active participation in lessons and encourage whole School participation, such as extracurricular activities.
- To use all available resources to deliver high quality and engaging lessons.
- Promote partnership working to increase and share best practices.
As a successful Maths Teacher, you should:
- Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS.
- Have a relevant maths-orientated degree at 2:2 or higher.
- Be able to provide two teaching references from within the last 2 years.
- Be up to date with the GCSE grading system.
- Hold a Child Only DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one with GSL Education.
