full -Time Teacher Position working with pupils aged 11 - 16 with autism and complex needs.
form tutor/ PE teacher based in an SEND school.
My client school are looking for a teacher to teach Physical education to small groups of students with autism and complex needs located in Hillingdon.
this role starts in March 2025
Role and Responsibilities:
- The teacher will work 5 days a week from 8.30 am till 4 pm (not negotiable).
- The teacher will need to start as soon as possible.
- The right person will be responsible for handover and planning for the return for this term.
- The teacher will need to have experience or a qualification in teaching children.
- PGCE, QTS or QTLS, bachelor in education ( will be required at a minimum to be applicable for this role)
Requirements:
- A degree in education or a relevant qualification in teaching is required.
- Experience working with children with Autism, SEMH needs is highly desirable, not a must
- Passion and dedication to work with children with special needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
