Role Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary French Teacher to join our vibrant Modern Languages Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality French lessons to students aged 11-18, fostering a love for languages, and promoting cultural awareness. You will play a key role in developing students' linguistic skills and confidence, preparing them for both examinations and real-world applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated French lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, parents' evenings, and professional development opportunities.

Person Specification:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
