Perhaps you don't hold the HLTA qualification but experienced in working as a HLTA?

Academics are currently working with an SEN school in Uxbridge, London who are seeking an experienced OR qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join them ASAP at least July 2025. Permanent contracts will be available for the right people.

** SEN Higher Level Teaching Assistant ** Uxbridge, London** SEN School** January 2025 start** Full time & long term contract** £95- £150 per day (depending on experience)** Excellent education and training available

This role will be working across the school covering classes and interventions with children additional needs to assist with their individual needs to ensure positive outcomes in their development and time at school.

This SEN School aims to provide their learners with the best possible opportunities to succeed with their goals in all areas of their life including social, emotional, physical and communication.

This is an all through school and they strive to ensure that their learners reach their full potential to allow them to actively participate in the wider community and prepare them for adult life.

Your role will entail leading classes alongside 5-6 teaching assistants in the class delivering lessons and interventions.

You will work closely with SEN schools class teachers to deliver the national curriculum and lead on interventions.

You will work closely with the SENCO to ensure the children's needs are being met as well as working alongside with outside organisations such as Speech & Language Therapists, Occupational therapists and other external companies.

This school are open to a Higher Level Teaching Assistant with the qualification or have experience working with SEN and covering classes/ leading interventions.

You must have experience working with SEN or delivering lessons within a primary or SEN setting.

Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum is essential!
