Tezlom - Uxbridge a successful Agency with a decade of experience in the Health and Social Care sector, is looking to recruit a Senior Support Worker for a Care Home based in the West Drayton area of Uxbridge.

Main Duties & Responsibilities of a Senior Support Worker

As the Senior Support Worker, you will play a pivotal role in upholding the positive reputation of the care home. This involves adhering to health and safety rules, overseeing a designated section of the home, and responding to emergencies with timely and justifiable decisions. In the absence of the team leader, you may temporarily assume leadership responsibilities. Your proficiency in using digital systems will be essential for recording and accessing information efficiently.

Operating with some autonomy, you will make decisions within established processes and under direct supervision when faced with unexpected challenges.

To be shortlisted as a Senior Health Care Assistant you will have the following:

  • Hold a Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification
  • Around 3 years of experience in a similar care environment
  • Must Have Experience in Peg Feeding
  • Must have experience administering epilepsy medicine BUCCALMIDAZOLAM
  • Demonstrate expertise in person-centred care for elderly residents in a care home setting.
  • Have hands-on experience working with individuals having dementia and a comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and regulations.
  • A cleared DBS check and right to work in UK .
  • To be a team player and be able to trouble shoot when the pressure is on
