Vision Teaching are currently on the lookout for a confident, passionate and nurturing SEN TA to join an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ school in Hillingdon. This will be a long-term role to start immediately. The ideal SEN TA will be someone who wants to make a difference and enjoys working with pupils with various needs. Experience with SEND would be ideal. As a SEN TA, you will play a vital role in supporting students with a range of learning and behavioural needs.

The role

  • Assisting students in the classroom to ensure their engagement and understanding.
  • Providing one-on-one support to students with various needs such as ADHD, ASD and behavioural needs
  • Working with small groups to help break down learning.
  • Collaborating with teachers and the SEN department to create tailored learning plans.
  • Encouraging independence, confidence, and a love for learning amongst students

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Nurturing and patient with students with SEN
  • Fantastic communication and interpersonal skills
  • Someone who has a ‘can do’ attitude
  • Have experience working with pupils with SEND

Requirements

  • A proven track record of your experience
  • An understanding of safeguarding
  • An Enhanced DBS
