Academics LTD is collaborating with a well-respected SEN school in Uxbridge that offers specialized support for children aged 5 to 18 with social, emotional, and mental health needs. The school is currently seeking a friendly and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team.

Key Responsibilities for the SEN Teaching Assistant Role:

  • Understand and address Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges
  • Support children with diverse needs, including Autism, ADHD, Down Syndrome, behavioral challenges, sensory impairments, physical disabilities, and communication difficulties
  • Assist students in developing social skills and emotional regulation
  • Demonstrate a genuine interest in working with children or in the Special Educational Needs (SEN) sector
  • Maintain a positive attitude and remain calm under pressure

This position is particularly suited for Psychology or Criminology graduates looking to gain experience in an educational setting.
