Exciting opportunity for Youth Workers, Sports Coaches or experienced Teaching Assistants based in or around Uxbridge!
Tradewind are currently recruiting for experienced Youth Workers, Sports Coaches or Teaching Assistants with a passion to support children with Special Educational Needs at a secondary school in Uxbridge. The secondary school is looking for an enthusiastic team player who is keen to inspire young learners by providing and supporting high quality teaching and enjoyable lessons. You will have a desire for working with young people and be looking to make a real difference.
This would be a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant role and would be perfect for somebody that is looking to be a teacher in future or wants to gain more experience working with secondary aged children.
This role would involve:* Supporting the class teacher in the delivery of lessons* Organising and collecting resources for the lessons* Deliver interventions* Use enthusiasm to encourage children to become involved in lessons
This successful candidate will:
* Hold a degree (ideally in a maths, English, science, humanities, sports or arts subject)* Have experience working with children (from volunteering, youth-work, tutoring, coaching, Teaching Assistant work etc)* Ideally, have experience working with Special Educational Needs
