The Role

As a PE Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver bespoke PE lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of students with varying abilities and special educational needs.
  • Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment, encouraging all students to actively participate and develop their physical skills.
  • Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and other educators to ensure a holistic approach to student learning and development.
  • Foster teamwork, self-confidence, and a love for physical activity in your students.
  • Monitor and evaluate progress, adapting your teaching approach to ensure all students achieve their potential.
The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a PE Teacher who:

  • Holds a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Has experience teaching PE in a school setting (SEN experience is desirable but not essential).
  • Demonstrates an understanding of differentiation and strategies for working with children with additional needs.
  • Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Is passionate about improving the physical and emotional well-being of students through physical education.
