Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher looking for a part-time opportunity in a supportive and nurturing environment? We are seeking a SEN Teacher to join our lovely primary school in Hillingdon, which has a well-established SEN unit attached.

About the Role:

  • Position: SEN Teacher (Part-Time)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching to students with SEN, following individual education plans (IEPs) and creating inclusive learning experiences.
  • Work closely with the SENCO, support staff, and parents to ensure each child’s needs are met.
  • Provide differentiated lessons and interventions to support a range of needs, including ASD, SEMH, and other learning difficulties.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and adapting strategies as needed.
  • Contribute to creating a safe and engaging learning environment that fosters independence and self-confidence in all students.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • QTS is desirable but not essential
  • Strong understanding of various SEN needs and how to adapt teaching strategies to suit them.
  • A patient, compassionate, and creative approach to teaching, with a commitment to helping every child reach their full potential.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team and parents.
