We are seeking a dedicated SEN Tutor to provide tailored Maths, English to young people with Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This role is ideal for someone passionate about making a difference in the lives of students requiring additional support.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Deliver one-on-one or small group sessions tailored to the needs of students with SEND.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the individual learning styles and requirements of each student.
  • Monitor and assess the progress of students, adjusting teaching methods and materials as needed.
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to maximise student learning and development.
  • Maintain accurate records of students' progress, challenges, and achievements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years teaching experience.
  • Professional Teaching Qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status / QTS / QTLS).
  • Experience providing Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the update service or the willingness to obtain one.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and other educators.
  • Patience, creativity, and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by students with SEND.
