Our client is looking for a Sustainability Coordinator to join their team where you will play a crucial role in shaping their sustainability initiatives. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of a long-term sustainability strategy that aligns with global objectives and ensures compliance with EU CSRD regulations.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Sustainability Project Management Support:
    • Coordinate and support the implementation of multiple sustainability tasks and projects, ensuring detail-oriented results within deadlines.
    • Engage and develop effective relationships with internal stakeholders to enhance efficiency and regularly report progress.
  • CSRD Compliance Support:
    • Stay updated on the EU ESG regulatory landscape and support the delivery of CSRD compliance.
    • Assist in collating and managing ESG data across multiple workstreams to meet CSRD compliance requirements.
  • Sustainability Communications:
    • Support the production of ESG reporting for the EU, collaborating with internal teams to gather content and with the communication team on report production.
    • Draft and manage content for ESG reporting, ensuring alignment with CSRD compliance.
    • Assist in drafting and reviewing sustainability content across various channels for diverse stakeholders.
    • Contribute to and maintain ESG/sustainability training content for internal stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in sustainability or a related field.
  • Experience in building Sustainability and ESG reporting content.
  • Understanding of ESG reporting frameworks including CSRD, TCFD, and GRI.
  • Proven project management skills.
  • Strong data management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Highly organized with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
Desirable Skills:
  • Previous experience in a sustainability admin role.
  • Passion for ESG/sustainability with an interest in advancing a career.
  • Experience in internal and external communications.
