Stairlift engineer required due to retirements in our client's business. Our client is a supplier of access equipment of the less able, the client manufactures, installs, services and repairs access equipment. They are looking for an engineer who has worked in a similar role in the past and is within an hour's commute of their Uxbridge office. The ideal candidate would have a minimum of two years' experience in a similar role.
This role requires manual driving license, ideally clean.
Stairlift engineer Position Overview- Install stair lift system and other access equipment to manufacturers specifications and safety standards
- Covering a patch of South East England but mainly working inside the M25
- Perform planned maintenance and services on access equipment
- Diagnose and repair faults on access equipment
- Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance and repairs
- Provide an excellent level of service to customers
- Great opportunity to be put through training courses
- Often reviews to maintain salary matches the worth to the company
- One of the main contracts the client holds is working with London councils
Stairlift engineer Position Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
- Manufacturer training courses would be beneficial but not essential
- Within 1 hours commute of Uxbridge
- Ideally clean manual driving licence
- Good customer service skills
- Personal hand tools required, specialist tools will be provided by company
- £28,000-£36,000 salary dependant on experience
- 29 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays
- Company vehicle with fuel card
- 8:00-5:30 working hours
- No overtime expected
