We are recruiting for an experienced Despatch Admin Assistant.

This is an administration position, based on the shop floor of a very busy Engineering Company and would suit a dynamic person who is not afraid of hard work

Weekly hours:

Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 4:30pm & Friday 7:30am - 12:30pm (39 basic)

Salary

£26,500 per annum

Responsibilities:      

  • Raising Treatments paperwork.
  • Make sure despatch log, Jobs at treatments table & end of month tables are up to date daily.
  • Ensure parts are sent to finished parts stores daily.
  • Packing & wrapping in line with customer requirements
  • General area housekeeping to prevent FOD contamination

Key Skills and Experience:

Essential

  • Experience of working in a similar quality conscious high-speed environment
  • Neat and accurate handwriting
  • Accurately working to an agreed set of procedures
  • Computer literature with good IT processing skills
  • Maintain a clean and tidy work environment at all times

Desirable

  • Knowledge of working Microsoft products
  • Some basic engineering knowledge
  • Experience of manual handling of high value items would be beneficial
  • Experience of daily target driven culture
  • Working in an environment with different competing priorities
